INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS

The Garvaghy Road Community has had the benefit of
International Observers being present to record the events
surrounding the Orange Order parades and 'protests'
in the last several years.

These observers range from officials of International Human Rights Organisations, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch,
Politicians from other countries and communities, legal authorities,
and people from all walks of life who independently of the community witness
the Orange Order marches and the events that surround them.

Without these international observers, the Garvaghy Road Community
would be alone in trying to state its case for justice, equality and
freedom from harassment.  With the ongoing documentation by various
international groups, the community's struggle can be seen and communicated
throughout the world by independent sources.
