GARVAGHY ROAD RESIDENTS URGENT APPEAL

11:00 Local Time

URGENT APPEAL FROM THE GARVAGHY ROAD RESIDENTS

The Garvaghy Road Residents urgently appeal to the world for phone calls and faxes Tony Blair, Bertie Ahern, Mo Mowlam, David Andrew, Adam Ingram and other British and Irish government officials to STRONGLY urge them to uphold the decision of the Parades Commission with regards to the Orange Order’s Drumcree March today.

Thousands of loyalists have already massed at the churchyard and the crowd marching up to Drumcree is growing. Observers have already noted that there are 2000 marching with the County Antrim Lodge alone.

THE RESIDENTS ARE IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT SHOULD THEIR SAFETY BE IN DANGER TODAY.
